HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?
For Individual Therapy, the initial assessment is 60 minutes in length and all additional sessions are 50 minutes in length. The additional 10 minutes accounts to note writing, session booking, and other administrative tasks needed.
For Wellness Planning, the initial assessment is 60 minutes in length and the following four sessions are each 30 minutes. The follow-up sessions are geared towards updates, addressing challenges, and making any needed changes.

DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES?
Yes (for individual therapy only). During your initial assessment, you and your therapist will determine the rate at which you will be billed for the service you are being provided.

WHAT METHODOLOGIES OR APPROACHES DO YOU USE?
Individual Therapy and Wellness Planning services involve the use of a number of methodologies that are evidence-based, effective, and safe. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy are the main methodologies utilized. These help to create structure in the work you are doing with your therapist and help to actualize the changes you are after.
